The individuals who attend our programs have limited income, usually from Social Security, and depend on their families or guardians to support them. There is a fee for members to attend TLC programs but it is by no means reflective of the cost to run the program. In addition, many of our families receive financial assistance to attend. Through fundraisers, private donations, and grants we strive to make up the difference and make TLC affordable. Your financial support allows us to have a low member to instructor ratio, quality programs, professional staff with a caring touch, and to help provide financial assistance to those who qualify. All donations are greatly appreciated!

I want to be a DREAM builder!

Our dream is coming true! We broke ground in 2018 on a community center that will offer an enriching environment supporting life skills, social skills and recreational activities. Our long term goal is to provide a residential facility with all levels of assistance, a place where members can live meaningful, productive lives despite their challenges.

The Path Of Our Dream

November 2015: The City of Ocala awarded TLC a grant lease of 22 acres on the north side of town
May 2016: Marion County initially approved TLC a Community Development Block Grant for $600,000.00
June 2018: The process to finalize the award agreement was complete.

Phase one of “The Dream” includes a 7,500 sq. ft. facility (learning spaces, common area, and a kitchen) and an outdoor sports/recreational area
The new facility will allow us to accommodate 60 members daily (currently, we can accommodate 25 members daily)
Capital funding goals are $1,300,000.00
To date, TLC has raised $900,000.00 through capital funding, materials, and in-kind donations.
